So by now we all know that Patrick Swazye has passed on. Great guy that did great movies. While most people are swooning over Dirty Dancing or Ghost, we must remember that he did another awesome movie that was NOT at all popular with critics at the time but was . Do you all remember Red Dawn? Surely you must realize that this was his best movie. It might at first seem like a guy/girl thing. They wonderful story of Dirty Dancing and all it's great choreography compared to a bunch of high school kids taking on the Russian Army. However. Red Dawn had a message, an important one. I actually really liked Red Dawn but my favorite of his was Road House. I quote that movie all the time!
But then again, I'm a simple girl with simple tastes. ;-)
When I had watched Red Dawn all the way through for the first time I knew that it answered every question the no-guns people were saying as to why we the people have the RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS.
I think I will make this my July
4th movie night since I usually don't do the fireworks crowds very often.
