HABIT

Gotta get back in the habit of posting. One because I think I have at least 1 loyal reader left and two well, to maybe lift myself out of the funk.

Weekend was slow. Worked for about 6 hours on Saturday then hung out with my friend the rest of the day. Sunday I was supposed to go fly my R/C airplane but it didn't work out. The guy I was supposed to go fly with, who happens to be my boss, called and said he couldn't make it. Turns out that was OK because shortly after the wind kicked up. Also my plane wasn't ready. That gave me time to go over it again and triple check everything. Plus the engine hadn't been run in a few years, so I managed to get that started and running good. Now it's good to go. Can't wait to fly.

I also drove around and looked at a couple of houses that Number One wanted me to check out. One house was pretty nice the only problem is it's about 35 miles from where I work. Not ideal if you ask me. But a 2300 sqft house for about $1100 a month isn't bad at all. At least compared to that I'm used to.

Thanksgiving will be spent on the coast this year. I can't wait. Nice and relaxing..... with about 30 people.

Ok. Chime in and let me know who's still here please. Pretty please? ;-)

You didn't think I'd give up on you that easy did you?

We Chiefs have gotta watch out for each other.

Besides, I don't post that often on by blog either so you won't hear me judging you over slow posting.

There are more important things in life and sometimes the muse just doesn't cooperate.

You still got me.
Never gave up on you either.
Check often.
Leave comments occasionally. Like on the last post.

You will find that that is about the normal price per month on most houses that size that is NOT in the "take care of me" state.

Depending on the time of day 35 miles isn't to bad. I travel a usual amount of 16 one way and at
8:30a in the morning its about a 1 hour trip...at 9:00a its about 25 minutes. So don't judge the mileage yet. Besides 35 seems like a piece of cake compared to what you are driving to get home now.

Oh and have a--G R E A T-- "Turkey" day with the family all around 30 of them.

Home is where the heart is and she is definitely waiting for you.

I'm still here....when I can grab a moment, you are always on my list of "must checks"....I hope you are having a fantastic Thanksgiving. And $1100 for a whole house?! Without the fear of drive-bys?! Dude...that's a steal!!!

Hope you had a happy Thanksgiving! I would really think hard about driving 70 miles a day for work in snow and ice and God knows what gas prices will be tomorrow. If you got a 4x4 Prius I'd say go for it!

I'm still here! We finally got cable and I can visit blogs without setting aside a three hour chunk for strictly that purpose.
And the house sounds priced about like what we had in But It's A Dry Heat, before the move.
