TIME

Time has once again gotten away from me. Lots of things going on. To much sometimes. So where to start.......

It seems I won the alleged bet (see below) LL over at Chromed Curses decided to pipe up on twitter about the Army-Navy game. Well I couldn't let that go. So a little bet was made and of course... Navy won. She now has ordered and received a nice sweat shirt. Pictures will be on her website. Maybe next time she'll know better than to put down the Goat. All in good fun and she was an awesome sport about it and that made it even better. Fear the goat!

A few weeks ago I went to Reno to do the Christmas shopping. Yes me. It's OK. I bought for the boys. I know how they think. LOL. So fast forward to last Friday. I'm a going home so that Santa has all the Christmas presents in the right place to be delivered on Christmas morn'. I get 30 miles into my trip home, stop for gas....... and my car won't start. Not good. Not that it doesn't start... it does nothing. Turn the key no turning over, no click click. Zip. Shit. Time: 2:30. Call the insurance company for a tow back to where I'm staying. Tow truck arranged. I get an automated call back and they say the truck will be there in 45 minutes. Time: 2:45. Call Number One. Enterprise in town: No rentals. Hertz($$$) they have cars, but they close at 4. Shit. Tow truck driver arrives. Time 3:00. Call Number One again. Hertz($$$) guy will stay no later than 4:15. Ass. Get to town at 4pm. Car off of tow truck. My friends son is there to pick me up. Time 4:10. Call Number One. Tell Hertz($$$) guy I'm on the way. Arrive at Hertz($$$) 4:30 guy is still there. Tell guy how much he rocks for staying. Get home at 11pm. Christmas present crisis averted.

Quick but nice weekend at home. Play Yahtzee and War with Mini-Me and put together puzzles with the Story Teller.

Tomorrow I get on a plane and fly to San Diego to spend Christmas with the Middle Daughter and Number One's In-laws. Should be an interesting time considering all that's happened this year. I'll be back on Sunday. Oh, and this is the first Christmas in YEARS that I do not know what the family is getting me for Christmas. I asked Number One and all she said was it's something I've already asked for. Hmmm. OK. We'll see......

Hope ALL of you have a super Christmas and you are looking forward to it as much as me. Be careful and be smart.
